Home / End jumps to the first / last bar. Shift-drag sliders for fine adjustment; Escape cancels a drag. Double-click the main volume to reset it. In number fields, Enter applies and Escape reverts. Escape otherwise pauses playback. Shortcuts work anywhere on the page, except while editing a field. Use ⌘ Z to undo and ⌘ Y or ⌘ Shift Z to redo (Ctrl on Windows/Linux). Plain Z and Y also work in the default shortcut mode. Drag the purple loop below the patterns to choose which bars repeat.
Add notes above or below an existing note to make a chord. Drag vertically from a note to bend its pitch. Use Customize Instrument to shape its sound.
On a touchscreen, tap to add notes and press and hold to select a time range.
